The creative process
I couldn't sleep so I got up at 3:35am and wrote all ten installments in one shot. Here, I'm pencilling the first page on Bristol board.
The comics are coloured with coffee. I brewed a fresh pot and used the coffee as watercolour. I start with a very light watered down coffee colour and build up from that.
The inking is done with old fashioned India Ink.
The lettering is also done by hand.
I finish the artwork using a Photoshop action called SparkPrint from RetroSupply Co.
